DiviDibs is a browser-based receipt splitting tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is processed when you use DiviDibs.

Receipt Images: When you upload a receipt photo, the image is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for text recognition and parsing. Before transmission, our system automatically removes or masks personally identifiable information (PII) such as customer names, phone numbers, addresses, and card numbers. Anthropic retains API logs for up to 7 days for abuse prevention, after which they are automatically deleted. API data is never used for model training. Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g. page views) through analytics tools. This data does not identify you personally. Advertising: We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing activity.

Receipt images are used solely to extract menu items and prices for bill splitting. We do not use your receipt data for any other purpose, and we do not sell or share it with third parties beyond the Anthropic API.

DiviDibs itself does not set cookies. However, Google AdSense may use cookies to personalize ads. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings.

DiviDibs does not store receipt images or personal data on our servers. Anthropic API: Receipt data sent to Anthropic's Claude API is retained for up to 7 days for abuse prevention purposes, then automatically and permanently deleted. This data is never used for AI model training. For more information, see Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, Korea's Personal Information Protection Act, or Indonesia's PDP Law. Since we do not store personal data, there is typically nothing to access or delete.

DiviDibs is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
